The semester is about to start and as some of us figure out how much money we are getting from financial aid, some of us are also planning what to do with that refund money. Some like to treat themselves to some nice things with this money but other's don't know what to do.
Here are some ways to use your refund money:
1. What I do with my refund money... I have a separate account (I call it my school account) and get all my refund money sent there. Now the question is why? I save it all! I save it and only use it for school related things like books, school supplies, scantrons, etc. Whatever I don't use I SAVE SAVE SAVE. You never know when you might need this money ex: Laptop breaks and you need a new one. Maybe even save it for you masters or a second degree! This money was given to you from school so use it for school!
2. Save it for a new car. (Who else wants a nice car)
3. Pay off your credit card debts. (These are dangerous)
4.If you live alone or in a dorm- Rent, groceries, home goods etc. (#adultlife)
5. Invest your money in the stock market. (These are things we should learn how to do in high school)
6. Study abroad. (Europe, Australia, Canada?)
7. Vacations. (Everyone's life goal)
8. Sorority/Fraternity dues. (These are a pain)
9. Concert tickets. (Great way to treat yourself from a hard working semester)
10. If you don't know what to do it's ok to save it just to save it, you may need this money in the future!
This is good money and these are just 10 ways to spend it!
